not sure what I'm going to put em under yet, I'm looking for a truck or jeep. I would prefer something that has a 350(or bigger)/th400/np205 in it already. :D

as for the tire, I plan to run a 16.9-24 R1.

i'm looking for a jeep or truck with a decent sized(350+) running v8.
I would really like to find a running v8 yj but the only ones ive seen are too much money. I think my best bet is going to be to find a older blazer or pickup with a good motor and trans. It's not going to be street legal for now.

Thanks

from what ive been told and seen, you can put wheel brakes on them and crossover steering with hydro assist to make em good for the street but I dont have money for that right now. I have brackets to run pinion brakes and Im going to have full hydro steering.

the height your looking at and the fact the wheels will stick out, pretty much guarantees that it wont be true street legal. unaltered headlight height and bumper height are also a factor. brakes would be my last concern, dot is the only one that cares about brakes and steering. and full hydro is not dot approved. if you drive it locally it wont much matter. why dont you build it on a fiberglass cj-7, w/360-v-8. going to look at one saterday. it is in your price range. call me....786-been getting473-a lot of spam9629.
