i was starting with a easy hook up.

2 inch pvc pipe, chosen because it fit into the air-box. Stock rubber elbow clamped to the pvc pipe.

first i cut a hole in the fender.

there was this place way back in the day I don't know if it's still there but you head towards chickia. On the left side of richmond after the levie theres a dirt road. you take that towards the west and it ran into a lake that you could drive in.

hadnt been back towards chicka in years. was it close to chicka, they closed most of the area down. the lake may be included. when i have more time ill look it up with miami-dade property appraisers. thier pics are better then google earth, and you can gps it.

the chekika unit has been closed for years and wont be re opening, that area out there is apart of the S.F.W.M.D plan to flood that entire area. the old road that used to go from chekika to steel bridge was dug up and flood control dams were put in place, and on the north end they installed another huge flood gate at about 136st and 212ave. pretty much everyhting west of 208 ave from 136 south is supposed to get flooded to bring teh wetlands back to south florida.
